Our company was founded to enable human topic experts to build artificial intelligence ("AI") products for their customers. Our AI products work on voice platforms such as Amazon's Alexa or Google Home as well as messaging platforms such as Facebook Messenger or Slack where customers need access to information provided by our experts.
We also have developed the Pylon Conversation Companion technology which allows users to navigate visual information through voice technologies when they need hands-free access to information.
Founded in 2016 by Shelby Bonnie and Mike Tatum, our team has worked with such great brands as CNET Networks, OpenTable, and Stubhub. Our team works in Boston, Chattanooga, New York and San Francisco.
You know the old English idiom “a picture is worth a thousand words”? Ever listen to 1,000 words on Alexa, Siri or Google Home? You will understand why that idiom is still relevant a hundred years after first published.
That's why we developed the Pylon Conversation Companion™, a companion to voice-enabled devices that provides visual content to a user when a thousand words might be a bit too much.
A good conversation flows. A great conversation is mutually beneficial. We have hired domain experts and linguists to make sure the conversations with our AIs accomplish both. The ability to talk to the internet to get information and complete tasks and transactions is still relatively new.
With Alexa, Google Home and Siri we are watching a brand new way of computing develop, and Pylon's technologies are pushing that development along.
